Shanghai Shenhua (the team that former Chelsea striker Nicklas Anelka has agreed to join) have also been dragged into the case as Huang admitted to accepting a bribe ahead of their 2009 win over Sydney FC. The Australian club earlier today released a statement claiming they have no information regarding the match-fixing.

The trials began on Monday when former head of the Super League, Zhang Jianqiang, faced charges of accepting match-fixing bribes totalling £260,000.
