The Red Sox have announced that John Farrell will return as manager along with bench coach Torey Lovullo will return for 2016.

Lovullo has been managing the team since Farrell announced he would be undergoing treatment for lymphoma in August. Lovullo’s name has been circulating as a candidate for other openings after the season as he has led the team to a 28-19 record while subbing for Farrell.
Boston is currently 78-83, fifth in the AL East.
