Brown and black bears are the most dangerous animals that players can stumble across, exempting legendary beasts in Red Dead Online that are notoriously difficult to take down, and they will often continue charging at players even if they are being shot at. Most players are careful to dispatch a bear from a distance or avoid them completely due to the severity of their attacks in game. However, Red Dead Redemption 2’s protagonist Arthur Morgan has been captured while sneaking up on a large black bear and kicking it in the “Evergreen Huckleberries”, despite this scenario likely leaving Arthur a moment away from being mauled.
