For the uninitiated, there’s plenty more to do in Red Dead Redemption 2 than just shoot-outs, horse riding and run-down saloons to get drunk in. After all, a huge portion of the player base love to dress and dapper Arthur Morgan up through visiting one of Red Dead Redemption 2’s general stores or tailors. From cow-patched waistcoats to spur-tacked shoes, the game offers a lot of cowboy cosmetics that Arthur can try on for size. But, despite this vast selection of vintage a la mode fashion, Arthur’s default beat-up blue shirt and brown pants have become the character’s most iconic outfit.

Now, one artistic fan has sought to pay tribute to this iconic costume by transforming it from the Red Dead Redemption franchise’s hyper-realistic visuals into a playful blocky LEGO art style. Because of this imaginative take on an otherwise grounded and often callous character, designer ItsChris_8776’s post that initially shared the creation went on to quickly amass over 150 upvotes on Reddit. Numerous community members made sure to praise ItsChris_8776 and the block Arthur Morgan in the reply section, as well as further encouraging them to develop more designs in the future.
It’s safe to say that ItsChris_8776, a creator who’s no stranger to building LEGO versions of Red Dead Redemption 2 characters, perfectly translated Arthur’s visual characteristics when putting together this blocky design. Everything, including Arthur Morgan’s iconic worn blue shirt, battered suspenders, and scuffed dark brown pants, is condensed neatly into this mini-figure. Inspecting closer finds that a black neckerchief around his neck, ready to be pulled over his face for some anonymous hold-ups and train robberies. On top of this, ItsChris_8776 made sure to include Arthur’s trusty steed.
In summary, with fun LEGO homages to Red Dead Redemption 2 being consistently shared and celebrated within the community, hopefully there will be more inspired creations to come in the future. After all, there are still many visually iconic characters from the game that would make for interesting designs, such as Dutch van der Linde, Sadie Adler, and Javier Escuella.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
