Besides adding new mission content within Red Dead Online’s Wild West environment, most of the game’s updates center around providing double experience points and in-game currency for its players. The most recent Ember of the East Opportunity had players stealing a legendary gemstone, and the latest RDO update pushed community members to get in on the action by doubling XP and RDO$ earned when completing the opportunity’s contracts. With new Telegram Missions coming into the game, players are likely hopeful that another double XP and RDO$ update will follow shortly.

On the official Rockstar Games website, the development team provided some details about the three new Red Dead Online Hardcore Telegram Missions. These three missions are respectively named Good and Dead, Frontier Justice, and Cold Day in Hell, which will be part of A Tough Business. RDO players interested in trying out these missions can do so by checking their camp’s lockbox, or a post office nearest to them. The Hardcore Telegram Missions are aptly named so, as they will be a challenge to complete. Once players activate the mission, enemies involved in the contract will not show up in the mini-map, and aim-assistance will be turned off.

Each of the missions will take place in several well-known Red Dead Redemption locations. Good and Dead will have players assassinate a target in crowded Saint Denis, while Frontier Justice will have players go face-to-face with the Del Lobos gang in Armadillo. Gamers will also have to work quick and clean, as their informant “J” will pay according to several factors - if players did not alert their target, their target’s gang members, and avoided becoming wanted by the law.

With the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy remaster being the talk of Rockstar Games’s online community, fans are likely still amazed that the team continues to provide updates for Red Dead Online. Hopefully the devs do not drop the ball, and continue to support RDO’s player base through constant, fresh content.

Red Dead Online is out now on PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
