Think of how many fights came down to just a sliver of health. Fights where if players got one more shot off, they’d have won. When battling in cold weather, health does not regenerate as quickly when using inappropriate attire. So in a prolonged battle, when everybody is taking a few scrapes here and there, gamers that used cold-weather clothes will be in a better situation than those who didn’t. This only translates to a little bit of health, but the entire game translates to little bits of health.

Shann and in the West Grizzlies indicates that players still aren’t getting the message. There is no reason for players to be dying of frostbite when there are great options available. With so many lost souls, it was time to spruce up this guide. It’s been organized by clothing item to make it easier to read and pictures have been included for visual learners out there.
The Bison Duster Coat
There are many articles of clothing that give a little bit of protection against the cold, but only one that gives 100% immunity to the effects of cold weather, even if no other garments are equipped. So if the goal is to make this as simple as possible, then the Bison Duster Coat is all anybody needs for perfect cold-weather protection.
It’s not available until level 92 and requires 8 cold bars, so it’s an investment. For those who are more thrifty, consider making a custom cold-weather outfit.
Customizing A Cold-Weather Outfit
In the game, there isn’t a blatant description regarding which pieces of clothing shield players from the cold completely, moderately, or slightly. There are some contextual clues, but they’re too vague to say with certainty.

Thankfully, the clothing in the social club is more specific. When searching, gear will either say “warm,” “reasonably warm,” or “slightly warm.” Here are some tricks when putting together a cold-weather outfit:
So when putting together an outfit, make sure the total of the pieces in that outfit is greater than five. As a precaution, please make sure to unequip this outfit in hot weather, like in the swamps of Lemoyne or anything in New Austin. Otherwise, the clothing will start draining the health core (just like what normal clothes do in cold weather).
